Holly Mann vs The Rich Jerk

an anti-sales pitch !
At first glance you'd say there
is not a lot of difference between their ebooks - both are excellent
guides
and both will make you money on
the internet if you follow their advice.
Holly is a really
good looking mother of a cute baby and she makes around $15,000
a month - and Kelly Felix (sorry - The
Rich Jerk) is a good looking Actor with a tremendously successful
business. I personally find the Rich Jerk's advertising dreadful
- but it *IS* supposed to be - on the basis of grabbing your attention.
I have bought both of these ebooks and have learnt much from each
of them - both have a good solid formula for making money on the
internet - and that's one of the catches with the Rich
Jerk ebook - he continually emails you with new opportunities
and these are good - but mostly a bit on the expensive side !
Both of these people have very readable
ebooks (I couldn't put either of them down !)
and both have free moneymaking websites
for you if you purchase their ebooks.
Both also have a forum for discussing
things (although there sem to be a number of complaints about
service on the Rich
Jerk Forum over their websites - due as far as I could gather
to the hosting company and not the fault of the Rich Jerk). Both
of the free websites rely on Adsense income and if promoted properly
should make you money.
The Rich Jerk makes much of his
lazy lifestyle and sometimes goes a bit far on the playboy lifestyle
- his book
is $ 49.95.
That's a BIG reduction from the
original price of $ 199 ! And it was good value then too.
Holly Mann's book is called Honest Riches
(previously Breakthrough Money Making Secrets Revealed.)
This is a NEW and greatly expanded
version of her e-book. There's a complete guide to creating and
marketing your own ebook or pdf and this really is a step by step
guide. It's better than most of the $197 books I've seen and I
heartily endorse it. If you are just begining or even an experienced
marketer, this book will put you on the right road.
She shows you how to make money
without any capital at all and then takes you by the hand to make
more money sensibly.Her book is only $
37 and has a lot of the same type of information
as the Rich Jerk without the rather crude style he affects sometimes.
That's pretty good for a 95 page ebook.
That's not to say you shouldn't
have the Rich
Jerk book too ! It definitely has moneymaking ideas I haven't
seen elsewhere. There is a tendency in RJ's book to steer you
towards his suppliers who he is also an affiliate for (Like Success
University - which I joined but after the inital course I had
problems with downloads and wasn't able to take part in their
almost compulsory phone calls between members...partly due to
my poor internet connection so I gave up.)
So the bottom line is that Holly
overdelivers on ebooks,information,and free stuff while the Rich
Jerk follows his own advice and tries to sell,sell,sell !
Who's right - ? If all you are after
is cash,cash,cash then it's
the Rich Jerk. The Rich Jerk also runs a site called guesswhatiheard.com
under his own name.He's rumoured to have sold one of his websites
for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
His anti-social marketing abrades
many people but there are lots of folk who'll put up with being
insulted to get rich !
His book is very easy to follow
and you should make serious money if you follow his plan exactly.
(and you don't have to be objectionable
to succeed !)
If you are looking for a Guru who'll
advise you and give you lots of freebies then go for Holly's book
!
Both give great tips on optimising
your website for keywords and thats terribly important.
I looked at many get Rich on the
Internet books before I bought these two. I'm glad I chose these.
Both have excellent chapters on
Affiliate Marketing and both are curently making good money themselves...
(Not all Gurus are !)
Either of these books will show
you the road to success but to make a go of marketing you really
*DO* have to follow their advice and actually do things like make
a mailing list,get serious about your products and market them
properly.
Both books are really good value
compared to some ebooks I've seen (at up to $1000 !) and you definitely
need one of these or you'll waste hundreds of hours and $$$ until
you discover the secrets of moneymaking on the Internet.These
books will both save you time and money.
Holly's book is concise
and well laid out and the Rich
Jerk's book is slightly shorter but also has an excellent
grasp of the subject.
For a new beginner in Marketing
I'd suggest Holly
Mann's book would be the better first buy - and maybe for
someone with a little experience of the Internet - the Rich
Jerk would then be my choice.
