Adwords - Create simple text ads and choose keywords that determine when they are displayed. This is where the Adsense Content comes from. You do not need a site for this - just set a monthly and daily limit you can afford.(this is pretty much a reverse Adsense ..) http://www.google.com

Blog - Start a blog on a theme (not just ramblings - unless it's illustrated droolings about Paris Hilton) and you will then get Adsense Ads relevant to your ad - and these may even get clicked ! )(by the way there are 2 and 1/2 million other blogs about Paris Hilton so just get in line would you ?)- you do have to sign up for adsense though - I suggest a blog at www.blogger.com which has good tutorials

CafePress - If you are a photographer, an Artist or Designer then you can upload things to Cafepress and choose the products you want to sell. Chitika - They do what they call an eMiniMalls service and this works really well. From a keyword,they show a sort of minishop on your page.Works well. Great alternative to Adsense.www.chitika.com

Clickbank - It's mainly an electronic download Affiliate Program site with 10,000+ products to advertise. These vary from how-to ebooks and pdfs to ebooks on cookery,dating,sex and loads of high rated software. Commission rates go up to 75% to YOU ! You get to see intersting things like conversion rates and commission before you decide what to affiliate with.But you have to pay for the advertising and that can get expensive - but you can also make a living from it if you choose the right products !!! ClicknWork - Well you're going to have to be really good to get into this one - its an advisory service but they DO require proper professional qualifications for IT stuff. Commission Junction -You must have a sensible website to join Commission Junction. It's free, then you choose companies whose ads you'd like to show on your site. The advertisers have the ultimate say on working with you. Here you'll find over 1000 major companies to work with. But they'll have to like your webpages - so use a nice template . Craigslist - A great way to buy and sell stuff - also when you place an ad the major search machines scan craigslist and you get a link added to your website if you do it subtly.You can sell anything from exotic pets to maseratis to massage .... there are ways to make serious money on Craigsllist http://www.craigslist.com

eBay - the start path to thousands of empires - somewhere in a galaxy far away they haven't heard of Ebay. Free to start up . Sell anything you want (almost !) Ebay is also a GREAT place to buy stuff to resell. Look at the Wholesale sections but be careful there are lots of scam artists preying on people in eBay (who do a great job rooting them out btw.) ALWAYS check a vendors Feedback before buying on ebay (however little it costs !)

eBay Stores - When you've made 10 or so sales on ebay you can open a store and sell your stuff just like in a real shop, this is a good option to get you started costs around $ 15 a month plus a fee for each item you offer (every month)

ELance - Great place to find work if you are an editor,code writer, programmer,web designer,writer or other freelance. Also a great place to find these people if you have a wizard idea and need someone to make it for you ! http:www.elance.com

Gambling sites - have all got very difficult recently since the US Government have pretty much banned internet gambling on US sites - and the UK Government are trying to get a revenue share for themselves (in Cyberspace no one cares if you scream !)
